⚠️ russian invaders keep violating equipment operation specifications at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP

It primarily concerns the Zaporizhzhia NPP power units 2, 4, and 6, albeit, at the other power plants, the occupationists do not comply with several technological requirements designed to guarantee the safe and correct operation of the equipment as well.

In particular, the fake ZNPP «management» ordered russian-made lubricant use for the standby diesel station (SDS), not taking into account that when heated, this lubricant begins to foam intensively. It results in a reduction in pressure in the system and automatic shutdown of diesel generators.

«Such actions of the incompetent and illegitimate ZNPP «management» from rosatom lead to the inevitable degradation of the plant's safety-related equipment and systems. Finally, this can cause the failure of the most important equipment of safety systems – diesel generators – followed by the occurrence of a nuclear and radiation accident. After the ZNPP de-occupation, all those who are now knowingly carrying out the criminal orders of the occupationists by violating the licenses of the Ukrainian regulator will be held accountable for their actions,» President of SE «NNEGC «Energoatom» Petro Kotin stressed.

All of the above, together with attempts to move Zaporizhzhya NPP power units from a safe «cold shutdown» state to a «hot» one, is a gross violation of the requirements of the nuclear legislation of Ukraine and increases the probability of a radiation accident.

‼️ The only way to stop the nuclear and radiation threat is to de-occupy the ZNPP and its satellite town of Enerhodar as soon as possible and to return control over Europe's largest nuclear facility to its legitimate operator – Energoatom!
