Landsbergis is a name that has repeatedly given great cause for hope for Democracy and Freedom. His grandpa was a signatory to Lithuania's break with the then crumbling Soviet Union, their Speaker, and Head of State. May the grandson live to see The Russian Federation also crumble, in turn. No more RasputINs LenINs StalINs PutINs.

Thanks DW News. Lithuania once again shows the democratic world what a great friend they are to Ukraine & other democratic nations in the Baltic region. VICTORY to UKRAINE.

As a US Citizen, it's weird hearing this kind of discussion of policy. All we get are ramblings about how well our political party is doing and how badly the other party is doing for every question.

Its so weird to hear a govt minister talking like a human being and not in deceptive politcese. I'm British so I'm not used to that.
Very impressive and articulate too.
Thank you.

As a German, I feel being represented in the EU by Lithuania’s foreign minister. Our government should 100% support this policy and provide Ukraine all necessary weapons to defend itself. We could do much more!

I think every country should have a FM like Landsbergis. His level of morality is unreal high.

Lithuania has lived with Russia as a bully and as an occupier, they no how they operate, weaponizing gas etc. If only half of our UK politicians had the intellect and straight talking abilities of this guy. Slava Ukraine !

*I fully support a ban on the issue of travel Visas to Russians, it is absolutely the correct decision to take.*

What an excellent interview and what a clear minded, intelligent foreign minister. Were there more like him amongst us. I found his analysis of all points to be correct.

Wow, one of the few intelligent, well spoken, serious and diplomatic politicians I've heard. I wish we had someone, even marginally, like this Canada. Good interview.
