⚡️⚡️⚡️ Another attack on the ZNPP was clearly carried out by the russian military, experts say
On August 6, 2022, the russian nuclear terrorists attacked the Zaporizhzhya NPP with multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), as a result of which a shell hit was recorded on the site of the ZNPP directly next to the dry spent fuel storage facility. In addition, an employee of the power plant received a shrapnel wound.
Having analyzed where the rocket launchers were fired from, and taking into account the angle of inclination of the rocket stuck in the ground, the experts reached a unanimous conclusion: the shelling was carried out by the russian military - approximately from the industrial zone located between the nuclear plant and the city of Enerhodar.
This territory has been under occupation since March 4, and therefore, the russian military intentionally fired at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the largest in Europe, in order to intimidate the personnel of the power plant and the population of its satellite city, as well as to discredit Ukrainian defenders.
The frame from a video published by propaganda Telegram channels and the image of the ZNPP industrial site from Google Maps were used for analysis. The first frame shows the angle of inclination and the place of landing of the projectile. The flight path and the place from where the projectile was fired by the operator are marked on the screenshot from map №2. And this is definitely occupied territory - screenshot №3.
russia continues to cynically lie to the world about the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP and use the power plant as a lever for nuclear blackmail. And only the return of the nuclear facility under the full control of Ukraine will be able to guarantee the smooth operation of one of the largest nuclear plants in the world!
